Kinotastic

I'm free at last! that was quite a school year .__. now that I have all the time in the world to do stuff, there's quite a few things that need to be accomplished. I need to put together a portfolio, get my license, hopefully a summer job... and I also have a long list of things I'd like to draw over the summer! The artist alley idea for Kumoricon was, once again, a let down. That still won't keep me from attending if I can, though!

My mom broke her leg about a week ago and she's been limited to the living room and not much else, so I've been staying downstairs with her, but I've been grounded from the computer lately so I haven't had a chance to draw much, anyway. During that time I managed to watch 7 seasons of Stargate: SG-1 (I think it's my 5th or 6th run-through?) and play through the first few Metroid Prime games for the gamecube XD I now have renewed love for U-Mos. (I used to roll around as a morph ball when I was little, attracting all the little moths that hung out with U-Mos at the temple) BUT ANYWAY, you'll probably be seeing lots of fanart from lots of different fandoms over the next few weeks, which should be a nice change of pace from all the EDM stuff I've been doing.

Anyway, just a little update to let you know that I am indeed alive, as it's been a few months since last I said anything. Oh yeah, commissions are open, too, if anyone wants a new icon for $5! Instead of changing the price around I'm just going to leave it at that, no matter how complex the character is. But I still put time and effort into each one! You can look just below this journal on my main page for examples/details. Time to start saving up for college! And, of course, anything helps! XD

Summer will be here soon! Anyone else excited?

This time I'll hopefully be going to Kumoricon for real--last year I wanted to get a table at the artist alley with my cousin Kiki, but we weren't able to go. Hopefully this year will be different! I'll be able to finish my plushies this summer, too, so I'm excited for that.

I have a feeling this break will be really awesome!
